Our task is to have the guy on the street KNOW and be CONCERNED about the danger of Climate Change.
This is a grassroots, people-powered campaign
When enough people, the masses, want change, the elected leaders will legislate that change.
The science is in, now is the time to raise public awareness that what we need is drastic and immediate action from our government with your tax dollars.
Lowering carbon emissions 20% in 20 years is not enough!
We need to, and we can, STOP all carbon emissions within the next 10 years. We have the technology and we have the money. All we need is to have our GOVERNMENT TO MAKE THIS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!
Our world is changing very fast. We don’t know exactly how it’s going to progress. But the broad outlines are quite clear, absolutely devastating, and backed by evidence that almost every reputable scientist now calls overwhelming. After decades of study and debate, the leading scientific organizations around the world now call climate change a real threat.
And the pace of climate change on earth is accelerating. Scientific estimates of the changing climate have recently been readjusted, because the process is happening faster than most people thought would happen.
People alive today — our beautiful little children, will probably DIE IN MID-LIFE. If we continue on the present path.
We need to fast track, without interference, any and all of the clean energy sources available!
The most effective way to control our carbon emissions and try to slow global warming is to encourage our ELECTED LEADERS TO ACT NOW. We need to let them know that this needs to be the number one priority! For the greatest good of the largest number of people, this problem is where we need to put the majority of our resources.
Let’s not wait until our children and grandchildren are suffering and dying from asthma. Let’s not wait until our food supplies diminish and become extraordinarily expensive, and freshwater becomes a diminishing resource.
Here is a news presentation that does a good job of showing the Climate Changing situation. They also forecast the speed of change.
PART ONE
PART TWO
This video tells us why we should take our best shot at preventing Catatrophic climate change. Even if it’s too late!

Hi, I’m a 21 yr old, college student at Cal Poly SLO in California. Only in the past few years have I really come to recognize the environmental death spiral our planet is in. Most of this realization is thanks to loving friends who talked to me about it. Now I know full well that my generation has got to do something about humanity’s hand in climate change. If we don’t and we keep pretending nothing is happening, we likely condemn ourselves and our kids (which I don’t even have yet), to either destruction, or at the very least total devastation. As proof, already we’ve had two Category 5 hurricanes in one season, a record number of top-level hurricanes in one season, and it’s only the beginning. We should be asking “why?” Sorry to be so somber, but it is a serious problem we face.
There is hope! We can slow, maybe even stop the human causes of climate change, and bring hope for a more livable future, or a future that is livable at all. The most effective thing we can do is know about the problem, and help others to know about it, who in turn help more to know about it.
Skeptical? Good! We should be skeptical about many things, otherwise we’d be blown around like vapor in the wind. So, let’s talk about it, but not just amongst ourselves, let’s talk with as many people as we can. With open minds let’s share what we know, share what we believe, share news articles and studies, and let’s get thinking!
